Carmen Ling is Managing Director, Global Head of RMB Internationalisation / Belt & Road for Corporate and Institutional Banking of Standard Chartered Bank.

Carmen joined SCB in May 2013 as the Global Head of RMB Solutions. In this role Carmen works closely with our bankers and product partners to deliver application-focused RMB solutions to our clients and leads our RMB Solutions team globally to build connectivity with our client base across financial hubs in various parts of the world. Recently in July 2018, Carmen was entrusted with expanded responsibility to have a global oversight on how we deliver SCB’s unique network and capabilities to our clients under the context of the Belt & Road Initiative.

Carmen has close to 25 years banking experience, all with Citi prior to joining Standard Chartered in May 2013. She has extensive experience across client coverage, transaction banking, RMB and network strategy. She held a variety of senior positions at Citi including Head, Global Transaction Services for Hong Kong, Corporate Client Coverage Head for Global Transaction Services and Real Estate Head for Citi HK. She was also a Senior Credit Officer of Citi.

Carmen is awarded “RMB Banker of the Year 2017” by the Asset.
