Peter joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2013 and is responsible for Corporate Finance business in Greater China and North Asia. This encompasses Leveraged & Structured Solutions, Shipping & Aircraft Finance, M&A and Project & Export Finance.

Prior to Standard Chartered, Peter was with UBS for 24 years in various roles including Head of Asian Investment Banking, Chief Executive of UBS Middle East and Chairman of Global Capital Markets, Asia. Peter has a long association with Asia and having first worked in the region in 1994 and settling in Hong Kong in 1996.

He is the Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce, member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Belt & Road Committee’s International Market Working Group and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre Belt & Road Advisory Committee.

He is a graduate of Oxford University and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
