Mr Chan Pui-leung

Mr Pui-leung Chan is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI), a member of the HKFI Governing Committee and a Councillor of the General Insurance Council (GIC). He is the Convenor of Insurers-Brokers Liaison Committee and Chairman of Task Forces on Greater China Affairs, Talent Development and Vision 2028. Mr Chan is a member of GIC Task Force on Employees’ Compensation.
Mr Chan is the Deputy Chairman of Employees’ Compensation Insurance Residual Scheme and Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Hong Kong, as well as a Board Member of Employees Compensation Insurer Insolvency Bureau.
Mr Chan, the General Manager of China Taiping Insurance (HK) Company Limited, is responsible for the overall management and business development of the company. He has over 30 years of experience in general insurance with expertise in underwriting and marketing.
Mr Chan holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and qualifies as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
